CF - Open source Clound Foundry PCF - Pivotal Cloud Foundry. Below Figure shows services provided PCF on top Open Source Cloud Foundry. Main difference is additional third party services and easy deployment. PCF is a PaaS solution. Supported in various cloud platforms including GCP, AWS. In Traditional approach also known as On-Premises, everything has to be managed from customer side. IaaS - Infrastructure as a Service. It is like a Virtual Machine is provided to the customer. Good examples are AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure. PaaS - Platform as a Service. Code and Deployment has to be done from the customer. Rest all managed by hosted service.
